Pioneer Europe 2024

25 - 28 September 2024 | Málaga, Spain

A church planting conference to equip and inspire current, future and exploring pioneers, for God’s exciting vision for the nations of Europe

Pioneer Europe brings together all of those with a heart for the Church in Europe from our Relational Mission family of churches – and beyond!

Who is Pioneer Europe for?

The conference is for all pioneers (current and future), and for anyone who is exploring a calling to be a pioneer somewhere.

It is also for church leaders, senders and supporters who want to get caught up afresh in God’s vision for the nations of Europe.

What do we mean by 'pioneer'?

The Church displays the manifold wisdom of God, and we see in Scripture a huge diversity who God uses and how He calls them to build His Church! Some examples include:

  • People returning to their home nations with the gospel (Ethiopian eunuch, Acts 8:27-28)
  • Business people and entrepreneurs (Lydia, Acts 16:13-15)
  • Itinerant/nomadic workers (Priscilla and Aquila, Acts 18:1-3)
  • Street preachers and evangelists (Apollos, Acts 18:24-25)
  • Short-term ministers (Barnabas, Acts 11:20-24)
  • Those called to a particular nation/people group (Acts 16:9-10)
  • Traveling encouragers (Tychicus, Colossians 4:7-8)
  • Praying servants (Epaphras, Colossians 4:12-13)
  • Church establishers (Titus, Titus 1:5)

They each had one thing in common: through their faithful presence and obedience the gospel spread, local churches were planted, and the body of Christ was strengthened.

What to expect

There will be unhurried times of prayer, praise and prophecy as well as input homegrown teachers speaking from real-life pioneering experience and years of knowing God’s faithfulness.

There are good transport links from the airport to the venue; the journey is a combination of one train and a bus, and will take roughly an hour. You can use apps like Citymapper and Google Maps to help you navigate.

You can also take a taxi from the airport; it will cost approximately 30€ (cash was preferred means of payment). This is a good option for groups who can share the costs.
