Travel & Accommodation

Accommodation

Casa Diocesana de Espiritualidad

Accommodation at the Case Diocesana is clean and comfortable. Each room has an en suite shower room, with towels and bedding provided.
There are no facilities in the room to make hot drinks but a number of our past delegates recommend bringing a travel kettle or Travel Water Heater.
There is only one iron and one hair dryer available at the venue: both can be borrowed from the reception team.
UK residents: remember to bring an EU adaptor (or two) for your chargers, etc.

Transport to the venue

Public Transport

Málaga has a good public transport system. You can travel quite easily from the airport to the Casa Diocesana by taking the Metro into the city centre and then changing to a bus. More information on the Málaga transport website.

Uber/Bolt/Cabify

Both Bolt and Uber cars operate in Málaga. At the airport, the pick-up location is signposted (it is not in the same place as taxis). You will need to download the app beforehand and have access to Wi-fi, or have data roaming, to use it.

Taxis

You can either pre-book an airport transfer to avoid long queues and waiting in the heat, or find a taxi at the taxi rank (signposted in the airport). Not all taxi drivers speak English (or Dutch, or German!), so write down the venue address to show them.
